Teeth Whitening
Professional teeth whitening to lighten your natural tooth color, under clinical supervision — unlike unsupervised at-home products, which can irritate your gums if used without guidance.
What's included
- Pre-treatment check: we confirm there are no cavities or inflamed gums before whitening
- In-office whitening with a higher-concentration gel
- Gum protection throughout the procedure
- Guidance to help the result last (foods, drinks, expected timeline)
Whitening isn't recommended with active cavities or inflamed gums — that's why the pre-treatment check is part of the treatment, not an extra step.
Whitening works best when the only issue is tooth color, not shape or alignment.
- Your teeth have darkened from coffee, tea, wine, or tobacco
- Your natural tooth color isn't as white as you'd like
- You've already had a cleaning and want an extra step before an event
- You want a visible change without altering the shape of your teeth
- You've tried at-home kits with no results or gum irritation
- 1
Pre-treatment evaluation
We check for active cavities or gum inflammation — whitening over those can cause sensitivity or pain.
- 2
Gum protection
Gums are isolated with a protective barrier so the whitening gel only touches the enamel.
- 3
Gel application
The whitening gel is applied in-office, with exposure time adjusted to your case.
- 4
Final shade check
We compare the before/after shade and give you guidance to help it last as long as possible.
How long does the result last?
It depends on your habits (coffee, tea, wine, tobacco) and daily hygiene — we'll talk through what to expect in your case during the consultation.
Is it safe for enamel?
Yes, when done under clinical supervision at the right concentration. The risk comes from unsupervised at-home products or overuse.
Does it hurt or cause sensitivity?
Some temporary sensitivity after the session is common; that's why a pre-treatment check and gum protection are part of the process.
Whitening or veneers?
If color is the only issue, whitening is the less invasive option. If you also want to change shape or size, veneers are the better fit.
